769. Kasima-river
Kasima-river mouth flowing into the Inba marsh.
At the nearby Kohansou on Feb. 15 afternoon.
The river source is the "Shouwa forest park", elevation of 92m, 32 km away, at the southeast edge of Simous upland.
As the tableland is tilted toward the northwest, the rain of that area comes here, without going to the Pacific just behind.
Below shows the shot place and the river source in red.

768. Nihei san
I once took up at this column the waterway works to connect Inba marsh and Edo bay which was made at the end of Edo Shogunate.
The Shounai clan introduced there had construction fatalities of 5 clansmen and 19 laborers.
Though the remains were brought back to Shounai, it is said that some of the laborers were intered around the Benten bridge. The photos below show that laborer's tombstone.
(at the westery fence side of Simo-Yokoto cemetery, Yatiyo)
There are 9 monuments on top of the stone foundation. Though they look the collection of roadside deities, the second one from the front is apparently a gravestone.
The photos below show the stone's front and side faces (left and right sides were shown together).
Naturally the inscriptions are in an old fashion, vertical writing and no space between the words. So by referring to the explanations of the local museum and others, I rearranged them in horizontal writing with space between the words as in the " " below.
Front side:
"Shounai Ouhatutori village peasant Nihei's grave"
Side faces, right and left:
"This is a grave of the laborer who worked for Shimousa Inba marsh old excavation route construction. After leaving Shounai, Dewa Province, on July 13th of Tenpou 14th year (c.y. 1814), and on September 2"
"4th he died of illness and was intered here. Those who visit here later should feel sympathy for him and thereby must not to dare damage this. Posthumous Buddhist name Kan.a Doutetu Sinji"
767. Roubai
Visited Funabasi Andersen Park after a while.
Roubai beside its boat house started blossoming.
On a fine day, it is nice to have a cup of coffee at this boat house.
Seeing this indicates that the name of Andelusen is, in our way of saying,
Andelusen hansu kulisutian
or, might be
Andelusen kulisutian hansu
766. Oops, so sorry
During pruning sazanka hedge, I erroneously cut out a twig on which a mantis laid eggs.
So I brought it back to around where it was by using cable ties.
This will work, as it is a matter of until it gets warm.
765.@Mokuren
Mokuren at a nearby square.
Though I think it was haku-mokuren, it might be kobusi.
Well, it blossoms before long, and reveals which is right.
